Zusammenfassung: | When we teach different types of organizational structures in business classes in terms of how internationalized the company may be, we move from some exporting with no formal structure for international activities through what Bartlett and Ghoshal (1992) describe as the transnational corporation. These are the companies that must simultaneously meet the demands for "global efficiency, national responsiveness, and worldwide innovation" (p. 118). Meeting these demands are what will maintain competitive advantage. |
