Zusammenfassung: | The aftereffect damage efficiency of shaped charge jets formed with the conventional metal liner against light armor is quite low. The validity of the PTFE-copper powder metallurgy liner material prepared by the cold pressing-sintering-compound pressing forming technique is experimentally studied and numerically simulated. The models of constitutive state and dynamic mechanical behavior were adapted to the specific shaped charge liner design. Shaped charge jets formed with the powder metallurgy material liner was shown to cause a higher surface target damage after breaking the light armor down, thus exhibiting an improved aftereffect damage efficiency. |
