Zusammenfassung:The aim of this research was to investigate differences in the estimated tendency of using sexual coercion with respect to the Dark Triad (DT) of a target profile. The sample consisted of Croatian students (N = 1107) who observed a profile of a person of the opposite sex and estimated the probability of being sexually coerced by that person. Data were analyzed using bivariate correlations and multi-group structural equation modelling (MGSEM) with the gender of the participant as the grouping variable, and showed that higher estimates of any of the DT traits were related to a higher estimate in the probability of being raped by the estimated person, which was found for both men and women. MGSEM revealed an absence of gender differences in predicting the probability of a rape attempt with DT traits, with Machiavellianism and psychopathy independently contributing to prediction of the rape attempt estimate.
