Zusammenfassung:Ternhag presents an obituary for Swedish music researcher and teacher Martin Tegen who died on April 11, 2019. Tegen was the undisputed Nestorn in Swedish musicology. With his long life, he became the last of the dissertation for Carl-Allan Moberg to leave mortality. And by choosing the university teacher's path, he came to pass on the legacy of the pioneering environment in Uppsala to the Stockholm Institute--thereby contributing to music science becoming a major subject.
