Zusammenfassung:The organic electronic ion pump (OEIP) provides a unique means for electronically controlled, flow‐free delivery of ions at the cellular scale. In article number 1902189, Eleni Stavrinidou and co‐workers implant a capillary‐based OEIP in a leaf of an intact tobacco plant with no significant wound response and effectively deliver the hormone abscisic acid, which is the first example of an implantable bioelectronic device in plants.
