Zusammenfassung:The extensive reconstruction of rail production at AO EVRAZ ZSMK in 2012 permitted the production of rails meeting global standards. While around 80% of the rails produced by AO EVRAZ ZSMK are purchased by OAO RZhD, the plan is to expand exports. Experience in producing rails to foreign standards is reported, and the prospects for exports in the near future are discussed.
