Efficacy and safety of midodrine hydrochloride in patients with refractory vasovagal syncope

This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of midodrine in drug-refractory recurrent vasovagal syncope. During a follow-up of 23.6 months, midodrine greatly diminished vasovagal symptoms in 18 of 20 of patients who were difficult to treat.
