IL-1 stimulates intestinal myofibroblast COX gene expression and augments activation of Cl negative secretion in T84 cells

A study examined the effects of interleukin-1 on enterocyte-subepithelial myofibroblast interaction in vitro. The effects of interleukin-1 are due, at least in part, to stimulation of cyclooxygenase gene expression.
