Selective block of gap junction channel expression with connexin-specific antisense oligodeoxynucleotides

Selective block of gap junction channel expression with connexin-specific antisense oligodeoxynucleotides was examined in A7r5 cells, a cell line derived from embryonic rat aorta. The data suggest that the 70-pS channel is composed of Cx40, whereas the 108- and 141-pS channels are composed of Cx43.
