Use of Satellite Telemetry for Monitoring Movements of Coyotes: A Pilot Study

An investigation using satellite telemetry for monitoring movements of coyotes is described. The objectives were to study reception of a satellite transmitter under varying environmental conditions and to examine the movement pattern of a coyote fitted with a satellite transmitter.
