Elk Responses to Disturbance by Cross-Country Skiers in Yellowstone National Park

A study examined the response of elk to disturbances caused by cross-country skiers in Yellowstone National Park. The elks observed migrated temporarily to other areas, suggesting that skiers movements be restricted to minimize wildlife displacement.
