Zusammenfassung:Enantioselective bromination of axially chiral cyanoarenes bearing high intrinsic rotational barriers via dynamic kinetic resolution using bifunctional organocatalysts is reported. Sequential addition of a brominating reagent in several portions at an optimized temperature was effective in accomplishing high enantioselectivities.
