Zusammenfassung:Florida's battles over injecting wastewater deep underground offer a lesson for any future US regulation of the underground disposal and sequestration of CO2. Keith, et al discuss the problems and suggest that any new regulations governing this procedure must be adaptive to new information and technology as they become available. Sophisticated tools such as 3-D seismic monitoring can be used to evaluate what is happening with the injections underground and more are in the development and field study stages.
