Toxic volatile organic compunds in urban air in Illinois

Airborne concentrations of toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were evaluated in urban areas in Illinois. Analyses indicate that most of the VOCs come from vehicle exhaust, evaporation of petroleum products and industrial emissions.
