Zusammenfassung:In this paper we study the bulk viscous cosmology by considering modified Chaplygin gas in the framework of ( 2 + 1 ) -dimensional spacetime. For this we consider various form of bulk viscosity coefficient ζ and then obtain the physical parameters energy density ρ , Hubble and deceleration parameters, H and q ,  respectively. Finally we discuss the stability of the model by using the speed of sound.
