Zusammenfassung: | The enhancement component in economic development is one of the primary components of an economic development strategy cycle model. The enhancement phase is examined by studying the interaction between the University of Mississippi and the Community Development Foundation in Tupelo, Mississippi. Given the ability of Tupelo to discern what is essential for greater growth and more achievement, a demand for a Tupelo-based 4-year and graduate educational capability at this juncture clearly is understandable and desirable. The emphasis on the enhancement phase of an industrial cycle in the current research is probably appropriate given the likely emergence of a new cycle of development in the community described. |
