Constraint on the time scale of biotite-grade metamorphism during Acadian Orogeny from a natural garnet-garnet diffusion couple

This work discusses the measurement of concentration profiles across the core-overgrowth interface of a garnet-garnet diffusion couple and the results of the modelling of these data to help determine the time scale of biotite-grade metamorphism during the Acadian orogeny.
