Solid-state MAS NMR study of pentameric aluminosilicate groups with 180 degrees intertetrahedral Al-O-Si angles in zunyite and harkerite

A study examined zunyite and harkerite by solid-state aluminum 27 magic-angle-spinning nuclear magentic resonance (MAS NMR) spectroscopy. Results show that zunyite contains excess aluminum.
