Zusammenfassung:	An abstract of a study by Pace et al creating awareness in the prevention and reduction in cardiovascular disease (CVD) among residents in rural Alabama attending a nutrition, health and physical activity fair (NHPAF) is presented. Results show that the NHPAF provided the groundwork for planning and implementing nutrition education programs that will increase awareness and knowledge for fostering lifestyle changes to enhance health and wellness.
