Role of (mu1)- and (sigma)-opioid receptors in modulation of fetal EEG and respiratory activity

In a study, fetal respiratory and EEG activity was examined in lambs after blockade of endogenous opioids with naloxonazine, a mu1-opioid receptor antagonist, and naltrindole, a sigma-opioid receptor antagonist.
