Nonadrenergic noncholinergic autonomic mediation of pressor response to feeding in lambs

Factors mediating a 70% increase in arterial blood pressure that occurs during feeding in newborn lambs were examined. Alpha- and beta-adrenergic blockade reduced blood pressure during feeding.
