Recovery of trout myocardial function following anoxia: preconditioning in a non-mammalian model
A study was conducted to determine whether a prior five-minute anoxic exposure could reduce the degree of myocardial dysfunction that results when the in situ rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) heart is exposed to 15 minutes of anoxia.
