TEA inhibits ACh-induced EDRF release: Endothelial Ca(2)(plus)-dependent K(plus) channels contribute to vascular tone

A study examined the effects of potassium plus (K-plus)-channel blockers on acetylcholine (ACh)-induced relaxation of vascular smooth muscle, intracellular free calcium II plus concentration elevation and ACh-evoked K-plus current of endothelial cells of rabbit aorta. Calcium II plus-dependent K-plu...

Zusammenfassung:A study examined the effects of potassium plus (K-plus)-channel blockers on acetylcholine (ACh)-induced relaxation of vascular smooth muscle, intracellular free calcium II plus concentration elevation and ACh-evoked K-plus current of endothelial cells of rabbit aorta. Calcium II plus-dependent K-plus channels are important for increasing calcium II plus during agonist stimulation.
