Zusammenfassung:The quantitative characteristics of the bottom sediment color of the Chukchi Sea is presented. The correlation relationships with the contents of grain-size fractions, chemical elements, and biogenic components are analyzed. The diagenetic factor influence is considered. The prospects of the colorimetric index such as saturation S is noted in the matter of lithostratigraphy.
