Novel recombinant serpin, LEX-032, attenuates myocardial reperfusion injury in cats

A study was conducted to determine the potential cardioprotective effects of the novel recombinant serine protease inhibitor (serpin), LEX-032, in cats. LEX-032 is a novel means of attenuating polymorphonuclear leukocyte-mediated reperfusion injury.
