Progressive loss of vasodilator responsive component of pulmonary hypertension in neonatal calves exposed to 4,570 m

A study measured pulmonary arterial pressures and cardiac outputs and calculated total pulmonary resistances of neonatal calves exposed to chronic hypoxia. Results indicate that perinatal exposure to hypoxia may lead to pulmonary hypertension.
