Zusammenfassung: | The US Constitution has the potential to be infinitely stupid if one considers how it may be interpreted or applied, but provisions regarding the right to bear arms, equal suffrage in the Senate and the electoral college stand out as facially stupid. The electoral college rules contained in the 12th Amendment are based erroneously on the election of 1800 and some stupid assumptions. The fact that equal suffrage among states in the Senate is one of two provisions that cannot be amended may appear stupid, but its stupidity is mitigated by the fact that it is the result of compromise. |
