Zusammenfassung: | In article number 1900091, Seshadri S. Ramkumar and co‐workers report on the production of photocatalytic and functional poly(vinylidene fluoride)/titanium oxide (PVDF/TiO2) nanofiber webs for rhodamine B (RhB) pollutant degradation under visible light. 80% of a 10 ppm RhB solution is degraded within 6 h for PVDF/TiO2 nanofiber webs (with a TiO2 concentration of 20%). This study proves the viability of TiO2‐based nanofibers to have catalytic capabilities under low‐energy visible light. Image design by Brad Thomas, at TIEHH, Texas Tech University. |
