Zusammenfassung: | On machining centers, such as machine tools, we have demonstrated the effectiveness of a wireless multifunctional tool holder system that can monitor physical quantities in the neighborhood of the cutting point during processing by a rotational tool. Previously, this holder system was shown to be able to separately measure temperature and vibration acceleration. However, it was necessary to synchronize these physical quantities to allow more advanced monitoring and analysis of processing phenomena. We have improved this holder system to allow synchronization of these physical quantities by sharing an electronic circuit, a microcomputer, and a wireless device within the holder. Here, we examined the effectiveness of monitoring processing phenomena using this improved holder. In addition, this report presents the results of comparing this improved holder and servo internal information in end-mill processing. |
