Zusammenfassung: | The major objective of the study was to examine, the role of parental income on the educational activities of the children in the Cholistan. Multistage sampling maximized the representation. A household survey was conducted in Cholistan to collect the data. Child Activity has been used as dependent variable in ordered form. Ordered Logit Model was used for econometric analysis. Descriptive results indicated that more than 50% children were involved in child labour. It appeared that household wealth had positive effect on child labour. Parents' education has significantly positive effect on school going children. The families who do not migrate in rainy season their children as compared to those who migrate in rainy season their children are more likely to engage in work. |
