Zusammenfassung: | At present, they are an integral part of teaching IT technology. In terms of visual well-being, the use of data projectors and interactive boards is problematic. When using them, it is often necessary to partially darken the classroom. This article addresses this issue, especially in terms of how the use of this method in teaching increases pupils’ visual stress. Therefore, several illumination measurements were performed at different stages of teaching, including analyses of the spectrum of different light sources. These variables are one of the basic parameters in determining the visual well-being and offer the possibility of involving pupils themselves. The illumination level is measured with the aid of a luxmeter at the point of vision and in its immediate vicinity. Workplace illumination was measured in daylight and in artificial lighting and depending on the distance from projection devices. All measured values were compared to the relevant standard. The paper shows cross-curriculum relations between physics, natural science and health education. From the didactic point of view, it is possible to deal with this topic in the form of project-based classes which are based on pupils’ theoretical knowledge and interconnect their knowledge with their everyday life. Thus, by solving this project, pupils can help reduce the visual stress at school, or even at home. |
