Zusammenfassung:Host-guest based highly emissive and solution processable nanocomposites are achieved by in situ encapsulation of yellow-emitting molecular dyes into ZIF-8 and UiO-66 during their nanocrystal formation, which can be effectively excited by blue light to generate white light. An in situ synthesis strategy is developed to encapsulate blue-excitable yellow emitting dyes into metal-organic frameworks to generate white light.
