Zusammenfassung:To investigate zinc dithiophosphate (ZnDTP) films on iron oxide surfaces by inelastic electron tunneling spectroscopy (IETS), it was necessary to define the conditions required to generate films of usable resistances. In this paper, the results of electrical contact resistance (ECR) measurements are reported on two different ferrous tribocouples sliding in oils containing commercial ZnDTPs of different types (primary, secondary, and aryl).
