Zusammenfassung:The discovery of new extended structures has often led to the development of new fields in chemistry and physics. However, the numerous combinations of metals (or cations) to yield new materials have been largely exhausted. Materials development based on the anion-centered strategy allows us to access several new classes of materials, such as iron oxides with square-planar coordination and mixed-anion oxides including oxyhydrides.
