Zusammenfassung:Pd/SO4-ZrO2-Al2O3 (Pd/SZA) catalysts with iron additives were synthesized in the study. Their textural characteristics, phase composition and catalytic properties in isomerization of n-hexane were studied. Doping with iron increased the specific surface area of the catalysts and the fraction of tetragonal zirconia phase. The introduction of iron cations in Pd/SZA catalysts enhanced the activity (conversion) and selectivity of these systems toward the formation of mono- and dimethylsubstituted hexane isomers.
