Zusammenfassung:	On September 12, 2001, the USP Patent & Trademark Office issued final rules, effective immediately, on procedures for civil actions and claims involving the agency. The new rules provide procedures for service of process, obtaining PTO documents and PTO employee testimony, indemnifying PTO employees and making a claim against the PTO under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
