Zusammenfassung:Sen. Conrad Burns and Sen. Ron Wyden introduced a bill on April 10, 2003, intended to protect consumers from unsolicited commercial email messages. Pursuant to the bill, anyone sending an unsolicited commercial email would be required to provide a valid return email address in the unsolicited email. The sender would then be prohibited from sending any further messages to a recipient requesting to be removed from mass email lists.
