Zusammenfassung:In order to gain insights into the responsive characteristics of the antioxidant systems of shrimp during viral infection, in the present study, Fenneropenaeus chinensis “vaccinated” with inactivated white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) and the control were challenged by WSSV, then total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) and the activities of 4 antioxidant enzymes in the hepatopancreas, stomach, gills, plasma, and hemocytes were examined and compared. The results showed that after WSSV challenge, T-AOC and the activities of the antioxidant enzymes in all the tested tissues of the “vaccinated” shrimp kept increasing for a longer time and reached significantly higher values ( p
