Zusammenfassung:This paper describes an error compensation method for a 3D laser measurement system based on a gantry robot used for car chassis sub-frame module dimensional inspection. The method is based on a geometrical model that describes possible distortions in gantry robot installation. Implementation of the error compensation model allows a several-fold decrease in gantry robot positioning error.
