Zusammenfassung:Catalytic oxidation of NH 3 to NO + NO 2 (NO X ) over perovskite-type LaMnO 3 and LaVO 4 prepared by sol–gel was studied. X-ray diffractometry and scanning electron microscopy analyses confirmed that the prepared LaMnO 3 and LaVO 4 had perovskite-type porous structure, and a specific surface area of 33.58 m 2 /g and 1.2 m 2 /g for LaMnO 3 and LaVO 4 was measured by BET, respectively. The catalytic oxidation of ammonia to NO X was found to begin at 350 °C, and approximately 88 and 95% of NH 3 was oxidized to NO X at 600 °C over LaMnO 3 and LaVO 4 , respectively.
