Zusammenfassung:Fine-grained Zn-0.8Ag alloy processed by equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) presents elongation over 650% and strain rate sensitivity 0.45 at room temperature. Examination along three orthogonal directions shows minimal superplastic anisotropy both under tension and compression. Measured tension-compression yield stress asymmetry indicates much easier grain boundary sliding under tension than compression.
