Zusammenfassung:Aggregation of CNSs after their use is a major challenge due to their small size. The work presents a convenient method to aggregate CNSs by functionalization with diphenyl ether molecules. Chemical tagging was done by formation of ester bond between surface hydroxyl groups of CNS and carboxylic acid groups on organic tagging material by two methodologies. The synthesized material was analyzed by SEM, UV-Vis and IR spectroscopy.
