Zusammenfassung: | An algorithm modeling the effects of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) on polyol ester foaming is developed. The model predicts foaming based upon PDMS viscosity, concentration and temperature. Model data are compared to laboratory results. Significant factors that influence foaming tendencies of PDMS-polyol ester systems are described. Applicability and limitations of the model are identified.
