Zusammenfassung: | According to venous Doppler, there is no indication of anticoagulants yet clinical reports evidence pain in the upper right limb, the recommendation being to continue the treatment with Trombostop and have another venous Doppler after 3 months. Trombostop 2 mg is recommended. Since the patient shows upper right arm pain, it is recommended to continue the treatment with Trombostop, and a Doppler exam after 3 months. In itself, the process of information and consent in an acceptable way is timeconsuming, requiring up to tens of minutes, possibly - under certain circumstances - even hours. [...]there exist exceptions, situations with no signed document of informed consent when, due to medical emergency, the patient cannot consent. The patient should have been prepared appropriately and should have signed a form of acceptance after understanding the medical procedure and the possible risks and complications. [...]informed consent, reconfigured as a protective element for the medical staff, would be reduced from legally groundless and unjustified - if one. |
