Reconsidering Woodrow Wilson: Progressivism, Internationalism, War, and Peace

Wilson evidenced sympathy for European immigrants and contempt for African Americans, whom he regarded as unsuitable for full citizenship. Wilsons meetings with suffrage delegates were cold, and he sanctioned the abuse of those arrested for picketing the White House.
