Policy and management support - A web-based questionnaire survey solicited the perceptions of government institutions, the aquaculture industry and research institutions about current approaches to spatial planning for aquaculture in marine and freshwater environments in Europe and non-EU countries in the Mediterranean and Black Sea region. - Innovations generated within AquaSpace have a global reach and will help improve the environmental and social sustainability of aquaculture production, much of which is imported to the EU.
