Zusammenfassung: | The problem of speciesism, is not only related to the fact of the deliberated infliction of pain or suffering to nonhuman animals, but also with the phenomenon of putting an end to their lives. With the respective apories exposed, considering their principal arguments, both for and against, its complexity will be elucidated with the assessment of a moral antispeciesist mobile, analyzing at the same time some limits of the occidental tradition in contrast to the ahimsa notion, established in some eastern wisdoms. |
