Characterization of knowledge and hygienic practices and accident prevention of care givers in Ecuadorian Children's Centers of Good Living

Knowing the total number of children suffering from malnutrition in Ecuador is complex, as these data depend on the source of the malnutrition. A research was carried out that allowed to characterize the knowledge and the hygienic and accident prevention practices of caregivers of different cantons of the country, studying the possible association between belonging to these cantons and the variables explored. Measures of central tendency and dispersion were used. In order to identify possible association between belonging to a Canton and other variables, the Chi-square test of Independence was used.
