Activation of Carbon-Fluorine Bonds by Metal Complexes

The coordination and activation of fluorocarbons by transition-metal complexes has attracted the attention of inorganic and organometallic chemists, and substantial progress was made in the 1970s and 1980s in this research. The activation of carbon-fluorine bonds by metal centers is discussed.
