Zusammenfassung: | Among the obvious effects of regional networks of cooperation, which are non-hierarchical in their principle of social organization, are the changes in the number of actors in world politics and their roles. The ever growing role of localization and regionalization requires new research methods and tools. Models based on identities, on multiple belongings of human beings, can be useful in explaining regionalization as a phenomenon in international relations. Here, Karpenko examines the issue of Kaliningrad, which is treated as an object of international politics. However, in the context of regionalization it might be helpful to change the perspective and to look at the region's subjectivity. |
